Depleting supplies of fossil fuels have given the world a great opportunity to look for a greener, more efficient replacement. And with all the talk of global warming and increasing pollution levels, it can’t come soon enough.
Hydrogen Technology Applications, Inc. (HTA), a company researching clean and efficient alternative fuel sources, claim to have produced a novel gas from water, called Aquygen™.
HTA say it can be used as replacement for oxyacetylene in the welding/soldering process, and offers greater efficiency and better performance, while producing no toxic emissions.
It can also be used in the automobile industry as a fuel additive, resulting in greater efficiency, at the same time reducing harmful emissions. With minimal engine modifications, HTA claim a 25-30% net increase in fuel efficiency. This could also be applied to diesel engines and aircraft turbine engines.
Denny Klein, the CEO and founder of HTA, said: “I always believed that water held the solution to the world's energy problems. I have made it my life's work and our company's mission to solve that problem.” Aquygen™ could be well on the way to doing just that.
